The evolution of Avid logo: It was a yellow piece of paper, full of simple pencil drawings: birds, suns, dollar signs, pyramids, diamonds, arrows, etc. Surrounded by inspiring words like clouds, ray of light, shadow, mountains, aurora, raising the bar, passage of time, transcending, protection, bottom line, breaking through the barriers, new millennium, stability, innovating. This was the way that Linda was communicating to me the complexity of her business and the many ideas that she had. It was the beginning of a new LOGO. |

After many hours spent in meetings, researching, learning, and designing, here it was, clear in my mind, the selected LOGO. A rising Phoenix bird protected with a shield, supported by big strong letters, saddle letters that express an established company. A company with years of experience and know how. This was the first step and the beginning of the development of their corporate identity. |
